Footprints also stocks a stunning range of European clothing for women including Sandwich Clothing, Lauren Vidal, Myrine & Me, Fenn Wright Manson and Joules.
Footprints is truly a one-stop store, offering a fantastic selection of designer brands in childrenswear and a great selection of contemporary clothing for women.
You do the craziest things when you are pregnant, but sometimes its pays off! This is how I feel 12 years later after setting up the Footprints business. My husband, Ciaran is a huge support and always told me to follow my dream, which I did. This is us above taking a well earned break from our hectic lives!
I was pregnant with my second child Jaden and had always dreamed of setting up my own business selling designer children's clothes. My career spanned 15 years in Marketing and E-Commerce across music retailing, radio and charities. No clothing retail experinece at all, but what I had was a passion and drive to make my business work. Four months into my pregnancy I decided this was the ideal time! No more corporate life just a chance to satisfy my ambition and to go for it and this was how Footprints started.
The Haslemere store used to be a large garage housing wedding cars, it was a huge space, no shop front and down a side street... everyone thought I was mad (as if I didn't have enough on my plate with a new baby!). However, we fitted a shop front, created two departments 0-8years and 9-16 years and filled the store with a great selection of childrenswear brands. From this passion I can now look back and say this was the best decision I ever made.
Three years ago Footprints went online and we have not looked back. We deliver our beautiful clothes all over the world and have niche followings in Finland, Australia, Germany, Ireland and of course the UK, especially Liverpool. This year Footprints expanded into womenswear both in store and online, offering a fabulous selection of contemporary clothing brands for women. I firmly believe in offering a proactive, personal, one to one customer service both in store and online. It is something that we are praised on in-store and I would like to make sure this is carried online too! Some of the services we offer in-store include:
Try before you buy - We know that our lives are busy, juggling work with home life, so we set up a service which allows you to take stock home from the store to try on at home for up to 2 days. No more rushing, a chance to mix and match into your wardrobe and your children's and if you like everything, simply call us and we will put the payment through for you, simple! This service is only available through the store.
Pay as you go- Love our clothing but could do with a bit more time to pay, don't worry, we have a great service just for you! Pay as you go or layaway as it is sometimes know allows you to select the items you would like (before they sell out!) and we will put them by for you whilst you pay off the amount in smaller more affordable payments. This service provides up to 6 weeks for you to spread your costs. Pay as little or as much as you would like - once the goods are paid for, you can then take them home! Great service to make sure you don't lose out on the items you want at the start of the Season and giving you the flexibility to spread the cost.
Pre-order - Sometimes you may notice that we have photographs of new products but no option to select sizes. This does not mean the item has sold out, it may be that this item has not come into stock. If you see something you like but no sizes do call us as we can make a note of your requirements as a pre-order. You can either contact us by email or telephone and we will reserve this item for you and contact you just as soon as it arrives into stock.
Buy online and collect in the Footprints Store - If you live close to our Haslemere store, then this service could just be for you. You may be too busy to come into the store, but you desperately want to order an item, or you may just want to place an order online in the comfort of your own home and collect it later from the Footprints store. You can now select this as a shipping option when you go to checkout and we will save your order for you to collect when it suits you!
Paying by Amex - We do accept Amex for phone orders and in our store. However, we do not accept Amex online.
